I didn't buy this here, but I had moved a few years ago and needed something small for my living space. I'm also writing this as I worked as a barista for 7 years Pros: -Beautifully textured micro foam. Can make anything from single/doppio espressos, americanos, lattes to bone dry cappuccinos -Gorgeous espresso with a nice thick layer of crema (great PSI!) -Takes up very little space -Auto shutoff for milk frother (so it doesn't bubble over everywhere - I'm still guilty of this on occasion with my Breville Infuser lol) Cons -Will lock you out of pulling espresso, hot water, or steaming wand actions when it reaches a certain number of uses and will trigger a cleaning cycle. ***THIS CYCLE CANNOT BE CANCELLED OR OVERRIDDEN***. Many times this has happened when I steam and texture my milk and then go to pull my espresso shot only to realize that the system has reached the number of uses to trigger a cleaning cycle and will not let you finish that "action". End up wasting my milk and then I have to cry over a cuppa tea instead. -VERY LIGHT and not stable. I purchased the base version and not the plus. The plus may be a bit "weightier" -Came with a very cheap light plastic portafilter and grinds tamper. Not a deal breaker, but very cheap for the price you pay. Plastic tamper sucks - creates static while trying to tamp down grinds and it doesn't compact it effectively and is messy -Did not come with a milk steaming jug (was a bit annoyed by that one since I had to go and buy a separate one) -Has auto shutoff with milk steamer which is technically a good thing, but I found the milk was not quite hot enough and it won't let you heat it up anymore (stops at a certain temperature), but this may just be my personal preference Overall I love the brand and it's a great starter machine, but with the cons I discovered, I invested my money and went with the Breville Infuser - 100% happier. My parents and I have used that machine for YEARS and it is built like a tank. It also doesn't lock you out with the cleaning cycle intervals. Obviously I don't suggest ignoring the cleaning cycles or "tricking" it by running water as the "cleaning cycle" (which still takes 10 minutes until you can finish making your latte), but you can still use the machine and then tackle it when you have free time and not when you're in a rush to leave for work and then have no coffee which makes for a pretty rough morning
