I wanted to love this desk. The price is good, it’s a simple design that works perfect in the room I placed it in. And it’s not hard to assemble, but no matter how much I adjusted and measured.. the boards seem to not match up properly with each other if bolted correctly. Either the boards weren’t cut evenly, or the frame is warped somehow. I tried loosening up the frame pieces to make the boards match, and if I do that.. then the frame can’t be bolted together properly. Or, both the frame and the boards are uneven. Who knows. I’m keeping it, but definitely am disappointed in the measuring ability of the people or machines that manufactured this. I will probably not be buying Mainstays furniture again.
