I really wanted to give five stars because I love these shorts, but gave it four due to the pocket placement. Thanks you Tracksmith for making an incredible product, but please move the lone zipper pocket to the rear of the shorts. When most runners use a zipper pocket, it’s typically to secure a key fob, ID, and maybe a credit card. This pocket does a great job at doing just that, but having a bouncing key fob on the right hip is very annoying. Other than that, the longer inseam is great for training days, the shorts are light and breathable, they look incredible, and there’s additional pockets (non zipper), inside the waist band for gels, or other items you feel can go left unzipped. Overall, I really like the shorts. They’ve worked great for 20 milers and repeat 400s. I’ll be buying another set, but would probably buy five more if the zipper pocket was moved to the rear.
