This product works VERY well. I use it in the discharge drain from the washing machine to rid the pipes of lint and soap residue. It has a thin consistency to it, so it can travel farther in the drain pipes. Just pour the bottle in the drain, let it sit 20-30 minutes, and flush with hot water. I have PVC pipes. You think they would never clog, but they build up muck just like any other drain pipe. After flushing the drain, I re-install the washing machine drain hose and run a hot water cycle. You can actually hear the difference the way the drain is working ! I use this on a monthly basis to avoid a backup. That would be a lot of soapy water to mop up. Peace of mind. Just read the directions regarding other types of pipes. But for PVC, you can leave it in overnight if you wanted too. Good stuff.

I used this stuff at work when air blasting and snaking doesn't work and I've been impressed.  I try not to use draino when possible and attempt to plunge first, air blast it with a milwaukee drain blaster and snake if i cant gain access without too much trouble, but when those options don't work i've used this stuff.  For stubborn clogs that didn't clear from mechanical attempts to clear i dump 16 ounces in, let it sit up to overnight and then i plunge it up and down to try to work the clog loose and clean the pipes.  

Just recently it worked to free up a stubborn urinal and sink drain that i wasn't freeing up no matter what i tried.  The draino didn't work on these stubborn clogs by itself, but once i hit it with a plunger for a while i eventually got the drains clearing water full speed with the little vortex that lets you know the water is flying down the drain.  

In the sink drain i previously got the sink to take 20 feet of snake and it still wouldn't clear, (it probably took a wrong turn)  either way i used this as a last ditch effort before calling the pro's to hydroblast it free.... This worked with some plunging.   Saved us a bunch of money.  

I'm impressed.  

This stuff will bleach your clothes and feels similar to bleach on your skin so i think they overstate how harmless it really is, but its a good tool to use.  Its not going to clear every clog.  If you have a shower drain full of hair... you should get the hair out before attempting to use chemicals to do the work for you.  For hair and other obstructions like plastic down in your drain that shouldn't be there, this isn't going to work magic for you.  Remove whatever obstructing material you can get to first.   This will breakdown clogs full of grease or soap scummy build up.
