Alienware 27 4K Dual-Resolution Gaming Monitor AW2725QF

The monitor itself is great. The OSD is fairly easy to use, and I was able to easily customize it to give me quick access to my three inputs. Windows defaulted to enabling HDR on the desktop, which made everything look terribly oversaturated, but after disabling HDR, colors look good, and the response time and image clarity is amazing compared to the decade-old 60 Hz monitor I was using before. However, a couple weeks after I started using the monitor, I noticed that the lighting settings I had set through the monitor's OSD had been reset to defaults. The OSD still showed the settings I had set, which did not match the actual lighting being used. I could still change the lighting through the OSD, but after a minute or two, it would reset back to defaults. I eventually found that Windows 11 had automatically installed Alienware Command Center in the background without my consent. This application looks like it could be used to adjust the lighting on a per-game basis, but it doesn't properly adjust to display scaling, so it's tiny and very difficult to use on a 4K monitor. I don't want that feature anyways, so I uninstalled it. Problem solved... except the next time I restarted my PC, it reinstalled itself again! As far as I can tell, the only way to prevent this is to disable parts of Windows Updates, or to allow it to install itself but then manually disable all of the background services it installs. I'm fine with there being optional software to control the monitor, but this software was forcibly installed without my consent, breaks the ability to change some monitor settings from the OSD, and cannot be permanently uninstalled.
