I got this after trying a couple of other packs that just didn't quite hit the mark for me. I absolutely love the size of this pack, as well as the variety of outside pockets. The sleeping bag compartment is large enough for my 20 degree down bag, my sleeping pad, plus 2 inflatable pillows, and my tent footprint with enough space leftover that I can probably fit a drybag with my sandals in there, too. The main compartment is more than big enough for my camp chair, a couple days worth of clothes and food. Even fully loaded with my gear, the pack is comfortable with ample padding on the back, hip belt and shoulder straps. The huge inside zipper pouch in the brain is perfect for my rain gear and extra socks, and the outside pocket fits some of my other quick grab items. The pouches on the hip belt are big enough to hold my Samsung phone and snacks. My only gripe is the location of the hole for my hydration bladder tube. It just kind of flops around awkwardly, but I think with a piece of Velcro or elastic I can make a little holder to keep it in place. Or I might reroute it through the side of the bag instead of the middle. Overall, great pack for the price!
