Spa Sensations by Zinus 6'' Memory Foam Mattress

The Zinus Spa Sensation 6” memory foam mattress is quite nice, as a mattress TOPPER. I know that it is listed as a 6” mattress but I don’t think it is substantial enough to be a mattress on its own. It is somewhat flimsy compared to what I was expecting. When we first opened it, to allow for it to expand, I thought that the pieces of foam that made up the mattress were of lesser quality than the previous Zinus memory foam mattress that we owned. I figured that I would give it the time to expand and not rush to judgement. It expanded quickly, nicely, and evenly to its full 6 inch size. It was well packaged and very easy to set up. There was very little odor and the slight odor that is to be expected from these mattresses dissipated very fast. The outer cover is of good quality and has a zipper, which is nice for cleaning. I purchased a Zinus 6” memory foam mattress a few years back and it was amazing. We used it as a mattress on wooden slats for years in my daughter’s bedroom and she loved it. I slept on it a few times myself and found it to be exceptionally comfortable. While I was disappointed that this purchase isn’t the quality of the mattress that I was expecting from our previous experience, I am still pleased with it considering the overall price, comfort and features. It is perfectly good as a topper for my son’s regular twin mattress.
