We used the mats to cover half of our garage to turn it into a home Aikido Dojo. Because the floor is concrete and we will be having kids practicing falls, we wanted a softer surface, so we opted to use two layers. The first layer is the lime green foam mats and the second layer, the 2inch Gym Mats, which are very well made. The mats arrived well packaged and they are perfect for our needs. What I liked the most about the mats, is that they don't have a chemical smell, not even the foam mats!
