(Not a short review: RISK OF SERIOUS BURN The container becomes too HOT TO TOUCH when removing from microwave. )I do recommend but with the full disclaimers why you wouldn't want to use these because the container becomes soft and flexible in the microwave AND BECOMES SUPER HOT! The container cannot be removed without a kitchen towel. The structural flexibilty combined with a serioulsy hot container is a dangerous combination. DO NOT LET CHILDREN PULL THESE FROM THE MICROWAVE. These hold an extra large aizing or two normal portions. The description said these were great for the dishwasher, freezer, and microwave. Two out of three is why I caution the use of these for freezer-to-microwave meal preparation. As much as these are great for freezing and are indeed dishwasher safe, I question using it in the microwave, which I did try. I froze a large serving of homemade baked spaghetti and popped it into the freezer for a quick and easy portion controlled lunch on another day. Stacking is easy and convenient. Well, today was "another day." It froze well, so well the lid freezes to the tray, and a little wriggling has to be used to pry it off. Be careful not to try to pull too hard and launch the contents all over your kitchen or crack a frozen lid. The microwave part is the concern.I did pop this from freezer to microwave with a pried lid, and the total time to heat a thick portion of baked spaghetti from solid frozen was ten minutes. It is in removing the container that you must be careful. The container softens and become flexible and SUPER HOT. This is not a container that you can remove with bare hands. Which makes me wonder about the plastic leeching into heated food, not to mention the possibility of severely burning your hand. A set of five bowls with five lids was very cheap, under $5. I will keep these for to-go containers if I have family over. WITH EXPLiCIT INSTRUCTIONS NOT TO USE IN MICROWAVE.
