Everlane Women's Way-High Gardener Cropped Jeans

I am so pleasantly surprised with how comfortable these jeans are. The thickness of the denim is warm and appropriate for autumn/ winter, especially when worn with some thermal tights. The deep pockets which wrap around the upper thigh are incredibly handy; items will not fall out even when i'm biking. They are stylish and can be dressed up or down. The stitching is tight and even. I ordered a 29 based on some reviews to 'order up' if in between sizes, however they are too loose, and I believe a 28 would have been perfect. So I 'took in' 1 inch by handsewing so I can adjust in the future if I gain some weight in my midsection. I My only critiques are the quality of the zipper could be better as it is not very smooth.
