Hoover Complete Performance Advanced Pet Kit Corded Bagged Upright Vacuum Cleaner

I did not even finish vaccuuming the main level of my house with this Hoover. Although the suction is great (the old carpet in my bedroom looked great), the brush did not stop rotating when the level was changed to hard floor, the brush did not stop rotating when the handle was upright and the hose was out, which resulted in sucking up the rug it was standing on, and when the hose is out, there were particles flying out of the hole where the hose is inserted in the vaccuum. So, whatever I just swept up in the vaccuum was coming back out when the hose was out. If I only had carpeted areas, this would be a great vaccuum. D/t the mentioned issues, this was returned a few days after I received it. Disappointing, as it did a very nice job on the carpet, but do not recommend for hard floors and the hose function.
