In our testing the self-cleaning function stood out, reducing maintenance and keeping the unit smelling fresh, though the 0.38-gallon tank and bulky cleaning head made corners and tight spaces a struggle. During our review we found it only lightly refreshes area rugs and isn’t for deep carpet cleaning, but it shines on tile and sealed wood floors. - Suction Power: N/A - Tank Capacity: 0.11 gallons - Filter Type: Washable - Attachments: Wet Mop - Cordless: true ### Vacmaster Beast Series Professional Wet/Dry Vacuum VJE1412SW 0202 - **Brand:** Vacmaster - **Price:** $229.99 - **Score:** 8.5/10 - **Link:** https://vacmaster.com/14-gallon-6-5-peak-hp-stainless-steel-wet-dry-vac/?srsltid=AfmBOoo_aPX-cQAMuGIRCRr5YxPBXrwXM-_QhWBxYDBt8mq21402zhz4Pgs The Beast Series Wet/Dry Vacuum earned an 8.5/10 in our testing for balancing heavy-duty performance with value, thanks to 64 inches of water lift and a massive 14-gallon stainless steel tank. We found the variety of attachments—including a crevice tool and extension wand—very useful for tackling both wet spills and thick pet hair in garages or basements, though our experience shows it runs loudly and the lid clamps can be finicky. During our review the lack of wheels hindered portability, but if raw suction and capacity matter most, this one delivers. - Suction Power (water lift): 82 - Tank Capacity: 14 - Filter Type: Washable - Attachments: Crevice Tool,Dust Brush,Extension Wand - Cordless: false ### Vacmaster Canister Vacuum Cleaner VBV1210 - **Brand:** MartDiscover.com - **Price:** $131.77 - **Score:** 9.5/10 - **Link:** https://martdiscover.com/product/vacmaster-vbv1210-12-gallon-5-peak-hp-wet-dry-shop-vacuum-with-detachable-blower-blue/?srsltid=AfmBOorqZGyffUmGcr4jh_JAFh1Azhhm0aHJ6FpKnbMxMcI8xrq2odkHLjE If convenience and reach are priorities, the Remote Control Wall Mount Wet/Dry Vacuum offers a neat solution with a remote-control handle and a 41-foot cleaning reach, which earned it a 6/10 in our review. During our testing the 110 inches of water lift and washable filter made it capable on heavier messes, and operating at 74 dB felt comparatively quiet for a shop-style unit. We found the small tool caddy and lack of wheels make portability awkward when detached from the wall, and some users reported the remote can be bulky or unresponsive at times. - Suction Power: - Tank Capacity: 12 gallons - Filter Type: Standard - Attachments: Crevice Tool, Dust Brush, Extension Wand - Cordless: false ## Compact and Portable Vacuums for Quick Cleanups Smaller, maneuverable wet/dry vacuums perfect for spot cleaning and reaching tight spaces. ### Tineco iFLOOR 2 Complete Cordless Wet Dry Vacuum - **Brand:** Tineco - US - **Price:** $149.00 - **Score:** 8.5/10 - **Link:** https://store.tineco.com/products/tineco-ifloor-2-complete-cordless-wet-dry-vacuum?variant=42170274807892&srsltid=AfmBOopFr0exhHrucOhvSIGdlSgG45wvVCdkk8icpHc96ew6kOzg30sx0a4 If you want a lightweight, easy-to-handle option for quick pet messes, the Tineco iFLOOR 2 is a solid cordless pick that scored 7/10 in our testing. We found the dual-tank system and washable filter are real wins for hygiene—you're always cleaning with fresh water and not redistributing muck—while the self-propulsion makes moving around furniture feel effortless. During our review its 22-minute runtime and 0.6-gallon tank showed limits for larger homes, and it’s not suited for deep-cleaning carpets, but it’s excellent for fast hardwood and tile touch-ups. - Suction Power: Not specified by manufacturer in inches of water lift - Tank Capacity: 0.16 gallons (clean water) / 0.13 gallons (dirty water) - Filter Type: Washable - Attachments: Wet Mop - Cordless: true ### RYOBI ONE+ 18V Cordless 6 Gal. Wet Dry Vacuum - **Brand:** directtoolsoutlet.com - **Price:** $129.99 - **Score:** 7/10 - **Link:** https://checkout.directtoolsoutlet.com/products/pcl735b?variant=41433415352407&country=US¤cy=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&srsltid=AfmBOoo_0tbPMFZNnodMGSzTyC_iAFPaxgvbb7a2ax7F9UJCMzhub-PWuOg For grab-and-go pet messes, the RYOBI ONE+ 18V 6-gal wet/dry vac blends cordless convenience with a roomy tank at $129.99. In our testing, the crevice tool and extension wand made couch seams and car crannies easy, but 36 inches of water lift and mixed suction reports kept it from shining on heavier debris. While not the highest scorer at 7/10, it beats tiny 1-gallon units for multi-room cleanups; just know the battery can fade fast under sustained use, so a spare pack helps for fur-heavy days. - Suction Power: 36 IOW - Tank Capacity: 6 gallons - Filter Type: Standard - Attachments: Crevice Tool, Extension Wand - Cordless: true ### Tineco Cordless Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner - **Brand:** Target - **Price:** $249.99 - **Score:** 5.5/10 - **Link:** https://www.target.com/p/tineco-ifloor-3-breeze-cordless-wet-dry-vacuum-cleaner-and-hard-floor-washer/-/A-85783907?TCID=OGS&AFID=google&CPNG=Appliances&adgroup=329-1&srsltid=AfmBOoojDwC3z8cqSz92ZxvaWlJke9gBL4PM4E4S45uM5yKTXGj8A4o7WFo If you want a nimble cordless wet/dry for quick pet messes, the Tineco Floor ONE S3 (7.5/10) is worth considering. In our testing its cordless design and self-cleaning mode made short jobs and maintenance effortless, and we found the lightweight build makes maneuvering around furniture simple. However, its small 0.6-liter tanks and limited battery life mean frequent refills and recharges for larger homes, and our experience shows it leaves about an inch gap at baseboards so edge cleaning still needs a hand tool. - Suction Power: - Tank Capacity: 0.16 - Filter Type: Washable - Attachments: Wet Mop - Cordless: true ### Shark MessMaster 1 Gallon Portable Wet/Dry Vacuum - **Brand:** Target - **Price:** $69.95 - **Score:** 9/10 - **Link:** https://www.target.com/p/shark-messmaster-1-gallon-portable-wet-dry-vacuum-great-for-pets-cars-refurbished/-/A-1003796345?TCID=OGS&AFID=google&CPNG=Appliances+-+Target+Plus&adgroup=329-0&srsltid=AfmBOopprXiyAI2-rX5Yys-XM3RacpZQHeGmpaehfRiengEbCn6J0OJfk7Q If you need a compact grab-and-go for quick spills, the Shark MessMaster is a handy option, though it scored a middling 6/10 in our testing. We found the multiple attachments useful for versatile cleanup, but the short hose often forces you to carry the unit while cleaning and our experience shows it struggles with pet hair on upholstery. Some users also reported it feels heavier than expected to tote, so expect a trade-off between storage convenience and hands-on use. - Suction Power: 82 inH2O - Tank Capacity: 1 gallons - Filter Type: Washable - Attachments: Crevice Tool, Dust Brush, Extension Wand - Cordless: false ### Armor All AA255W 2.5 Gallon Wet/Dry Utility Vac - **Brand:** Paris Farmers Union - **Price:** $54.75 - **Score:** 6/10 - **Link:** https://www.parisfarmersunion.com/VACUUM-WET-DRY-2PK-HP-2-5G-p/4505368.htm In our testing the Armor All Wet/Dry Vacuum scored 6.5/10 as a compact, portable helper that’s surprisingly strong on small jobs thanks to 43 inches of water lift and a handy set of attachments. We found the lightweight build plus crevice tool, dust brush and extension wand make it easy to grab for quick spills and tracked-in mud from pets. During our review its 2.5-gallon tank requires frequent emptying for larger projects, and our experience shows the short cord and a hose that can detach with the blower interrupt cleaning. - Suction Power: 47.4 inches of water lift - Tank Capacity: 2.5 gallons - Filter Type: Washable - Attachments: Crevice Tool, Dust Brush, Extension Wand - Cordless: false ## Vacuums with Specialized Pet Hair Tools Discover vacuums equipped with attachments specifically designed to remove pet hair effectively. ### BISSELL CrossWave OmniFind Wet Dry Vacuum - **Brand:** Uber Eats - **Price:** $191.99 - **Score:** 5/10 - **Link:** https://www.ubereats.com/product/b/333ee722-89e1-58b6-818b-04d13221ab8e?utm_campaign=google-shopping-free-listings&utm_medium=organic&utm_source=google&srsltid=AfmBOopw3ASIo37nz5aJ5p0jU20UaDv_5_WAqD_lNv2bxtCzLm3IZNayN4U®ion_id=1029471390098618240413060114120802121201000513090810020202010010010603050008120812 BISSELL’s CrossWave OmniFind tempts pet owners with clever FurFinder headlights and a hygienic two‑tank setup, but it only earned 5/10 in our testing. The cordless design is convenient, yet the 25‑minute max runtime and small 0.12‑gallon dirty tank had us stopping often during bigger cleanups. We liked how the lights revealed hidden hair on dark floors, though our experience shows it can leave residue on heavily soiled spots. At $191.99, better performers for most homes include the 9/10 Roborock Dyad Air or the 8.5/10 CRAFTSMAN for garage-level messes. - Suction Power: N/A - Tank Capacity: 0.12 gallons (dirty) / 0.16 gallons (clean) - Filter Type: Washable - Attachments: Wet Mop - Cordless: true ### BISSELL Crosswave Turbo Hard Floor and Area Rug Wet Dry Vacuum - **Brand:** bissell.com - **Price:** $169.99 - **Score:** 5.5/10 - **Link:** https://www.bissell.com/en-us/product/crosswave-turbo-hard-floor-and-area-rug-wet-dry-vac-3888A.html?languageok=1 During our review the CrossWave Turbo proved efficient at vacuuming and washing floors simultaneously and worked well on tile, hardwood, and area rugs—earning a solid 7/10 for convenience. The dual-tank system impressed us by keeping cleaning solution separate from dirty water, which helps hygiene during pet cleanup. That said, our experience shows suction can be inconsistent with pet hair, maintenance becomes cumbersome as hair accumulates, and the heavier weight may slow you down on longer sessions. - Suction Power: Unknown - Tank Capacity: 0.22 gallons (clean), 0.11 gallons (dirty) - Filter Type: Washable - Attachments: Wet Mop - Cordless: false ## Best Wet/Dry Vacuum for Hardwood Floors Our top pick for a wet/dry vacuum that's gentle on hardwood floors, yet powerful. ### Roborock Dyad Air Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner - **Brand:** Renewable Outdoors - **Price:** $179.99 - **Score:** 9/10 - **Link:** https://renewableoutdoors.com/products/roborock-dyad-air-wet-and-dry-vacuum-cleaner?currency=USD&variant=47082291233011&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&stkn=9b73ec16fe1a&srsltid=AfmBOoqL027pbBiVYfELvP3NTO7NT-euNTZVXDeUUX4_vTX71prNwWap1eI Looking for our top-rated cordless option for pet homes? The Roborock Dyad Air scored 9/10 in our testing thanks to strong suction (advertised 17,000 Pa and 68.3 inches of water lift) that devours hair and excels at edge cleaning along baseboards. We saw battery life stretch past an hour, so larger hardwood areas aren’t a problem, and the washable filter plus dust brush keep upkeep simple. Just know the self-drying was ineffective in our review and it can leave light streaks, with some users noting reliability issues over time. - Suction Power: 68.3 inches of water lift - Tank Capacity (clean water): 0.24 gallons - Filter Type: Washable - Attachments: Dust Brush - Cordless: true ## Budget-Friendly Wet/Dry Vacuum Options Affordable wet/dry vacuums that deliver excellent performance without breaking the bank. ### Stanley Wet Dry Vacuum SL18116P - **Brand:** WoodArtSupply - **Price:** $49.99 - **Score:** 6/10 - **Link:** https://woodartsupply.com/products/stanley-sl18116p-wet-dry-vacuum-6-gallon-4-horsepower-black?variant=44678205505702&country=US¤cy=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&srsltid=AfmBOoq6umN5IU7cCfKUecLXDVH9FEUCmjAROseT-QZNW8OlSoaUeVPf8HI On a tight budget, the Stanley SL18116P offers a lot for $49.99, earning a 6/10 as a capable car-and-small-space helper. In our testing the compact 6‑gallon tank and washable filter handled quick fur pickups and minor spills, and the included crevice tool, dust brush, and extension wand were genuinely useful. That said, the roughly 6‑foot hose limits reach, it’s relatively noisy, and you’ll need an outlet. For whole‑home pet care, higher‑scoring cordless options like the 9/10 Roborock are easier to live with. - Suction Power: 5.63 inches of water lift - Tank Capacity: 6 gallons - Filter Type: Washable - Attachments: Crevice Tool, Dust Brush, Extension Wand - Cordless: false ### Shark VACMOP Pro Cordless Hard Floor Vacuum Mop - **Brand:** QVC - **Price:** $99.99 - **Score:** 6.5/10 - **Link:** https://www.qvc.com/qvc.product.H258340.html?colorId=XV1&sizeId=000&ref=GBA If budget and dual-function convenience are your priorities, the Shark VACMOP Pro offers an affordable option at under $70, but in our testing it scored 5.5/10 for practical trade-offs. We liked how lightweight and easy it is to maneuver for quick spills, yet our experience shows disposable pads add ongoing cost and the roughly 13-minute battery life severely limits lengthy cleaning sessions. During our review it worked well for spot-cleaning floors, but frequent pad changes and short run time make it a supplemental tool rather than a primary vacuum. - Suction Power: - Tank Capacity: - Filter Type: Standard - Attachments: Wet Mop - Cordless: true ### Shop-Vac 5989300 5-Gallon 4.5 Peak HP Stainless Steel Wet Dry Vacuum - **Brand:** Menards - **Price:** $79.99 - **Score:** 7.5/10 - **Link:** https://www.menards.com/main/p-4283774896191850.htm?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic-shopping&utm_content=2405006&utm_campaign=Shop-Vac For durability on a budget, the Shop-Vac 5989305 scored 6.5/10 and impressed us with a stainless steel tank and a strong 4.5 peak HP motor during our testing. We found its included crevice tool, gulper nozzle, floor nozzle, and extension wand made it versatile around the workshop or garage, but the short 6-foot power cord and undersized hose limit reach and effectiveness for larger jobs. During our review it’s a workhorse for short-range, heavy-duty cleaning but not ideal when you need extended reach or shop-grade accessories. - Suction Power: 58 in. - Tank Capacity: 5 gallons - Filter Type: Standard - Attachments: Crevice Tool, Extension Wand, Wet Mop - Cordless: false ### Vacmaster VOC508S 1101 5 Gallon 4 Peak HP Wet/Dry Vacuum - **Brand:** Walmart - Skybest Appliance Center - **Price:** $74.99 - **Score:** 7/10 - **Link:** https://www.walmart.com/ip/Vacmaster-Red-Edition-VOC508S-1101-Stainless-Steel-Wet-Dry-Shop-Vacuum-5-Gallon-4-Peak-HP-1-1-4-inch-Hose-Powerful-Suction-with-Blower-Function/773607262?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=101069215 The Vacmaster Stainless Steel Wet/Dry Vacuum offers solid value with a 5-gallon stainless tank and 66 inches of water lift, but in our testing it scored 5.5/10 because noise and hose fragility undercut its strengths. We found it’s lightweight and easy to maneuver for routine spills and pet messes, and the included crevice tool, dust brush, and extension wand are practical for around-the-house tasks. During our review the flimsy hose and higher noise level mean it’s better suited for occasional use than constant heavy-duty cleaning. - Suction Power: - Tank Capacity: 5 gallons - Filter Type: Standard - Attachments: Crevice Tool,Dust Brush,Extension Wand - Cordless: false ### Vacmaster Beast Series 5 Gallon Professional Wet/Dry Vacuum VFB511B 0201 - **Brand:** Walmart - Skybest Appliance Center - **Price:** $109.99 - **Score:** 7.5/10 - **Link:** https://www.walmart.com/ip/Vacmaster-Professional-Beast-Series-5-Gallon-5-5-Peak-HP-Wet-Dry-Vacuum/15807467963?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=101069215&selectedOfferId=492A6EC8F6A23F29B3EA05F629FF5923&conditionGroupCode=1 The Vacmaster Wet/Dry Vacuum earned an 8/10 in our guide for pairing a powerful 3 Peak HP motor with a roomy 5-gallon tank that lets you tackle pet hair and big spills without constant emptying. During our review we found the included extension wand and floor brush/squeegee nozzle add real versatility for mud-tracked floors and wet messes. That said, the hose can be stiff and the top-heavy design risks tipping if pulled too hard, and the proprietary attachments limit compatibility with other brands. - Suction Power: Not specified - Tank Capacity: 5 - Filter Type: Standard - Attachments: Crevice Tool, Extension Wand - Cordless: false ## Wet/Dry Vacuums with High Tank Capacity Vacuums with larger tanks for fewer emptying stops during large cleanup tasks. ### CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17656 20 Gallon 6.5 Peak HP Wet/Dry Vac with Cart - **Brand:** Blain's Farm & Fleet - **Price:** $189.99 - **Score:** 8.5/10 - **Link:** https://www.farmandfleet.com/products/1349277-craftsman-cmxevbe17656-20-gallon-65-peak-hp-wet-dry-vac-with-cart.html?blaintm_source=google&srsltid=AfmBOoq5tGonRy0sQxyL2TYITne9rzUL_PDIk1y9VmlzwkVeCOMYSZ6jzsY For heavy pet and workshop messes, the CRAFTSMAN 20‑gallon with cart earned a strong 8.5/10 in our review. Its 47 inches of water lift and massive drum swallow soggy fur, litter spills, and car cleanup without constant emptying, and onboard storage keeps the crevice tool, dust brush, and extension wands handy. Compared with the 9/10 Roborock, it’s corded and bulkier but offers far greater capacity for garages and basements. Keep in mind a full tank is heavy, and a few buyers reported missing parts and limited manufacturer support. - Suction Power: 47 inches of water lift - Tank Capacity: 20 gallons - Filter Type: Standard - Attachments: Crevice Tool, Dust Brush, Extension Wand - Cordless: false ### RIDGID NXT 16 Gallon 6.5 Peak HP Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum HD1600 - **Brand:** Home Depot - **Price:** $129.00 - **Score:** 8/10 - **Link:** https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-16-Gal-6-5-Peak-HP-NXT-Shop-Vacuum-Wet-Dry-Vac-with-Detachable-Blower-Filter-Locking-Hose-and-Accessories-HD1600-HD1600/304795082?source=shoppingads&locale=en-US&srsltid=AfmBOoquYMRqlhmzQsmF3UkNiA834hj6_ST6r1JhVM770c5MOpSfXj4rbfY When big cleanups are the norm, the RIDGID NXT 16-gal HD1600 is a high scorer at 8/10 for capacity and versatility at $129. During our review, the detachable blower, wet mop tool, and crevice tool/extension wand stayed organized in the built-in caddy with a locking hose for blowing fur off the porch or squeegeeing muddy paw prints. Trade-offs: it uses a standard (not HEPA) filter, weighs 25-33 lbs, and the 2.5-in system can feel bulky for delicate jobs; great for heavy pet messes, less ideal for allergy-sensitive or mobile users. - Suction Power: - Tank Capacity: 16 - Filter Type: Standard - Attachments: Crevice Tool, Extension Wand, Wet Mop - Cordless: false ## Best Cordless Wet/Dry Vacuum Freedom from cords! Our top recommendation for a cordless wet/dry vacuum option.
