Hey, friends! I decided to sign up to help transform a bedroom at the H.E.R. Shelter. The H.E.R. Shelter has two locations in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia that assist women and children in leaving unsafe and abusive situations and starting their lives over. This bedroom will be both a safe space for these women and families to lay their heads, and a foreign environment, which for young children can be quite confusing and distressing. 

My goal is to make this room as magical as possible for those in our community in need of such a place. I will be painting and decorating the room in a few short weeks.
