Invented by a French baker in 1965, the Silpat non-stick oven mat frees your baking from parchment sheets and greasy coatings. Made with food-grade silicone and reinforced fiberglass mesh, the quarter sheet mat cooks evenly, releases easily and bakes without the need for greasing cookware with butter or oil. To use, line a baking pan or cookie sheet with the mat, top with cookie dough, frozen appetizers or gooey pastries, and bake.Fiberglass mesh and food-grade silicone.
