Bought this for Thanksgiving, I got a 24.58 lb turkey and wanted to slow roast in oven but I needed a bigger roasting pan to hold it. This Electric roaster by Aroma was cheaper(or equal to) than buying a new pan. So I ordered the electric one. I started at 9:45 pm the night before and I seasoned my turkey and placed in preheated roaster at 450 for 30 min. Then turned the heat down to 200, without peeking I left it with a wired thermometer in the breast and slow roasted for 15 hrs. It was the best tasting and juiciest turkey I have ever made! It was very close to a deep pit without the smoke flavor. The only thing I would consider a negative is that at 450 the roaster is hot to the touch on the outside as well, but once turned down it wasn’t hot at all. It is light weight and easy to clean. I am ready to try a prime rib or ribs or something next!
