The history of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut can be traced back to 1846. It was then that the Maison released Cuvée K, a historic champagne. The first with a lower sugar content, what is now known as “Brut”. Maison Perrier-Jouët then became famous for its Brut champagnes, which it was able to produce because of its high-quality grapes, which required very little added sugar — it still maintains this philosophy today. Shimmering silvery-gold with floral aromas, rounded off by fresh fruit and hints of buttery brioche. Crunchy and light on the palate, it combines freshness with a persistently rich, generous finish. Goes well with fish pie, Saint Jacques carpaccio or oysters (especially Bellons oysters).
