HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA Triclone Skin Tech Medium Coverage Foundation

I’m still fairly new to makeup, but I’ve established with myself that I prefer powder foundations over liquid foundations as it works better for my oily skin in the humid summer. But with cold and dry weather on its way, it’s time to switch to a liquid form foundation that could help with my dehydrated skin but still work with my oily skin. I started with the drugstore and found some okay options but nothing that satisfied my needs and made me put a hard stop on my searching. I decided to take a chance with this foundation after hearing many great things. From the first swatch in my shade matching at Sephora, I just knew this would be the one. I already loved the way it felt on my cheek. When the sephora employee found my perfect shade, I looked in the mirror and I couldn’t even tell she had swatched it, and it solidified it for me: I. LOVE. THIS. FOUNDATION! Having dehydrated skin, I just love how hydrating and nourishing the formulation feels on my skin. It doesn’t settle into my pores, accentuate my texture, or cling to dry spots. Having oily skin, it feels so lightweight and barely there and leaves a skin-like natural radiant finish. The longevity and performance of this is top notch. Even when my natural oils start to break through, the foundation stays put and together (I also don’t wear primer at all under makeup). I’m a yoga teacher, and even in my hot yoga class, sweating didn’t disturb the foundation too much. Yes, there was some transfer when I dabbed the sweat off my face with a towel, but my face still looked good and smooth. It also plays well with my powder foundations when I touch up throughout the day. All-in-all, this foundation is amazing and it’s pretty much my “Holy Grail”. I just started a no-buy with a goal of emptying out my current foundation products, and after wearing this foundation, I know I’ll be able to stick to it and use it to the last drop. And honestly, I don’t think I’ll replace it with anything else at Sephora.
