Pros Sound Quality: Wow! I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from bone conduction technology having never tried it before but the sound quality of the OpenRun headphones exceeded my expectations despite my only getting the basic model. While the bass isn’t especially pronounced (to be expected), the overall sound quality is still quite impressive. Design: The open-ear design allows me to stay aware of my surroundings whilst running, plus, the fit of the Mini version is snug, secure and comfortable - have encountered no issues with them slipping out of place whilst running or doing other inverted exercise like yoga. Other: Very happy with the waterproof rating as I love running in the rain and so far they’re holding up just fine in wet weather. They also charge up very quickly and take a long time to run down which is wonderful. Shopping experience: honestly seamless - clear sizing options with easy measurements (leading to my purchase of the mini option), arrived in record time excellently packaged so not damaged and charged on arrival making them very easy to connect and set up with the instructions. Cons One feature I missed was the inclusion of dedicated forward and backward buttons for easier track navigation particularly given all the space available on the section that fits behind the ear. I do believe it’s possible to program one of the buttons to do this though just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Overall Impression While the lack of deep bass and forward/backward buttons might be slight drawbacks, I’ve found that the benefits far outweigh these. For running and daily use, I’ve found they’re a reliable, innovative solution that I’m over the moon with.
