They used to be red, and blue, and now they are gold. Finis' Zoomer fin is the gold standard(literally) due to its low flex, keeping the center of pressure where it needs to be - at/aft of the toes and atop the foot. Too much camber combined with a too-soft flexible fin tends to place that point beyond the toes, which doesn't allow the swimmer to develop a correct feel with their kick. The motor on a boat is in the back! If developing your kick for lap/competitive swimming is your goal, add this to your gear bag. Be sure to go true to size, or down. I wear a Men's 11.5/12 US in nearly all shoes. Size G works best for me. If the fin is too loose, you will increase the likelihood of friction in the fin and across the toes.
