I work at a music studio as a hobby so I'm basically spending time with Studio class headphones. Thought I'd check out this device and also get something light weight. Look & Feel: 8/10 Got the blue color & it looks very good. Plastic all over and its surprisingly very comfortable. Most of the studio headphones dig & eat into your head. Since its all plastic it could break easily if we stress it in a direction it doesn't want to move. Well, for comfort you would need to sacrifice durability at this cost. And yeah better not drop them! Sound Quality: [My Biggest Priority] Stock sound is ....meh.....maybe 6/10. You certainly for sure need to set a custom EQ for getting the best sound that's candy for your ears. And yes this is very subjective, everyone likes a taste of their own needs. I've analyzed the sound profiles across it's various frequencies and came up with a equalizer setting for a balanced plush bass, bright ringing background mids and soft clear highs for voice/cymbal crashes. You can try this custom EQ setting to see a very significant jump up in enjoying your music. 400 Hz +6 (Controls mid-bass splash) 1 kHz +4 (Lifts vocal presence) 2.5 kHz +2 (Adds attack and sparkle) 6.3 kHz +3 (Brings air and dimension) 16 kHz +9 (Surfaces fine detail/ambiance) ClearBass +4 or +6 This setting works for all genres of music for me. Again, this is subjective so you could push them +- a couple that sounds better to you. In addition, you can also download an extra app that adds a surround effect along with this setting if you like. Might add into the flavour. So this goes 11/10 for sound quality, of course after a custom EQ, for this price. Dedicated App: 9/10 The app has plentiful options for controlling all the features of the headphones. The adaptive ANC is a great piece of implementation. Its decent on this headphone. The better the hardware the better the ANC will perform with the NC logics they have designed & deployed. Preset EQs, I personally am not a fan of them. 360 Surround is amazing but you would need to install supported content providers like Tidal, Amazon Music Unlimited or nugs.net. All of them need $$$ for access. Connectivity: 10/10 Faced no issues with IOS, Android & Windows pairing. Quite stable using firmware V1.1.2. Offers a stable dual connection. Battery Life: 10/10 10% to 100% in about 3 hours. 30+ hours with ANC on. 40+ hours with ANC off. More than enough!
