Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer

I purchased the Smart Oven™ Air Fryer in Sea Salt colour. I am a long time Breville owner with 6 other Breville appliances all in great working order; with no issues at all. My old stainless steel Smart Oven lasted many many years yet the door hinge broke and I decided to replace it even though the actual oven still operates perfectly. I didn't give any other brand a single thought because of the great history I have had with all my other Breville pieces. My mistake! I opted for the the Smart Oven™ Air Fryer in sea salt colour. Adding the air fryer was an upgrade but I have since noticed the convection setting does an equally good job if not better in most cases therefore the air fryer is not worth the extra money. The crumb tray stains and cannot be cleaned entirely. The air fry basket bends easily during careful hand washing and cannot fully be cleaned either. I gave up on that. The sea salt colour while initially chosen to freshen up the kitchen counter has been a big disappointment. Steam escapes during use and leaves smoky stains on the white sea salt paint all around the door frame which looks horrible. I have tried many different non-abrasive cleaners but the dingy smoky colour does not come off. Big waste of time. The sea salt paint chips easily too. The broiler pan lightly tapped the side of the paint going into the oven one time and the paint chipped off. All very unsatisfactory things to have happen for a spendy purchase. I take very good care of all my appliances and this is unacceptable and a purchase I am disappointed with.
