Parachute Down Duvet Insert

With a recent move I wanted to redo my bedding. When I saw the Parachute collection in C&B the color was exactly what I was looking. And to that the all cotton materials, and I was sold. I got the duvet, duvet insert, pillow shams and then mixed in some C&B Euro Sham and Siesta Blanket. The fabric and weight of the duvet is perfect. The insert (lightweight) is so fluffy considering it’s a lightweight. I was worried about dog hair on the duvet; but even with the brush on the Perscal it so far easily wipes of. The siesta blanket also offers the perfect added protection from dog paws (my 50lb love did snag a thread early on, but overall it so far seems heart enough to offer protection, stand up to frequent washing and weather the occasional snag…while protecting the duvet from heavier wear and tear and adding to the look). I love the new bedding. Also the weight and breath ability was great for me (I sleep hot, so was worried…I do of course fold back the siesta blanket when sleeping). The only thing I would say - which another review mentioned and I double checked the dimensions so was prepared for - is that the width is a bit small. I have a Queen 13inch mattress and it just barely covers it. I did get a king size siesta blanket to add a little length on the sides, and I considered getting a king duvet…but didn’t want to chance that being too long (and then collect dust /hair on the sides). Oh and in the pictures please ignore the blank walls! We are still getting our wall Art/pictures framed so they are a bit bare and boring!
