Zep Grout Cleaner and Brightener

Zep made a huge difference in the appearance of our kitchen floor. Like so many others have mentioned, our tile floors never looked clean due to the grout. I poured Zep over the grout lines and let it sit for at least 3 minutes, sometimes longer. In some places Zep would start to bubble up white like it was already working to clean the grout right after pouring. It really did help to lift the stains. I did buy a toothbrush to scrub the grout as our floors are 20 yo and probably could use some extra scrubbing. This may not have been necessary, but I felt like it really helped the grout get even cleaner. Then I took a damp towel and wiped the area clean bc the cleaner will really turn brown as it does its job. I would do smaller sections at a time then move on to the next section. It was a simple process and even with scrubbing with the toothbrush, it wasn't very labor intensive nor did it take a long time to complete each section. Before Zep, we wanted to rip up our kitchen floor and replace it with hardwood. Now i can look at our floor and feel satisfaction with it. Our grout lines went from almost black to the off white they originally were, and Zep has given our kitchen an upgrade for only about ten bucks. We are very pleased.
