Wrangler Men's Rugged Wear Performance Series Regular Fit Jeans

I love the comfortable fit of these jeans with the Comfort Flex Waistband and the 4-Way Flex denim(#1039952MI). Due to recent weight loss, I am currently trying to find a 40x32 size that fits! I can find the 42x32 (larger waist) size in several different stores, but the waist is too loose. Whenever I try the 40x32 in ANY store, the waist is like six inches too small! It's that way every time I try that particular size on! I can't even come close to getting it buttoned! It's only one waist size smaller than the 42x32! When I try a 40x34(longer inseam), it fits perfectly in the waist, I'm able to button it and zip it up with no problem. The longer inseam should not change the size of the waist! Why is every 40x32 in this line always too small in the waist? I think you have a run of 40x32 jeans that are mislabled. They're most likely a 34x32! You need to check your factory!
