The build feels sturdy, even though it’s mostly plastic and fake leather. I was hoping for a bit more premium feel since they’re not cheap, but overall it’s good enough. One thing I don’t love is how the black version picks up fingerprints really easily — I added some photos so you can see what I mean. Sound is really good, and the noise cancelling is excellent — definitely one of the best I’ve tried. The transparency mode is also pretty impressive, almost like AirPods Max, which is nice if you want to hear what’s going on around you without taking the headphones off. Compared to the XM5, this feels like a nice step up. Call quality is fantastic as well: the new AI-trained mic combined with the next-gen chip makes voices clear, even in noisy environments, which is a big plus for me. I also like the Sony app a lot — you can customize a ton of settings to get the sound and controls just how you like them. Fast charging is super convenient — a quick 10-minute charge gives you hours of use. Bluetooth stays stable, and switching between two devices works flawlessly. The only downside for me is the ear pads — they tend to make my ears hot and sweaty after a while + that fingerprint nightmare (can be avoided with white version) Overall, even at full price, these headphones offer great value. If you’re coming from older or cheaper headphones, the XM6 won’t disappoint.
