For context, my previous pair of Headphones were reaching the end of their life, and I needed a replacement. I enjoy listening to music, going to the gym, and playing games with friends. While capable of handling each activity, there were quite a few caveats. Here are my thoughts on the JBL Tune 770NC: - Out of the box, the sound quality is great. The mobile app also offers many customization options to fine-tune the sound to your liking. There is a bit to be desired in bass, which is noted as a primary feature on the packaging. - ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) and Ambient Aware are very good. TalkThru mode was a little disappointing (volume is significantly dampened while active). - The microphone quality is incredibly disappointing. During wired-mode, the microphone will become completely disabled. - I would say these headphones are moderately comfortable in my opinion. I can wear them for maybe 4 hours before I begin to get uncomfortable. It is worth noting that there is no sweat-resistance. - The charging port is placed in an awkward location, preventing charging during use. - Very long battery life (even with ANC enabled). Supported by configurable automatic power-off settings. - Multi-point connection is technically supported, but highly finicky. The headphones often fail to transition between devices, meaning you will likely end up needing to disconnect one from Bluetooth anyway. TL/DR: Primary features (overall sound, noise cancelling, battery) are relatively good. Many lesser features (microphone, multi-connect, etc) are subpar.
