Dap 08135 Wood Carpenter's Latex Wood Filler

I bought two tubes at my local Home Depot and they were great, Easy to work with and easy to clean up. If I wrote a review then, it would easily be five stars. I needed one more tube. I purchased it at the same store two days later. Unfortunately, it seemed like I purchased a totally different product. The product had partially dried out in the tube. It was very hard to get out and not easy to work with. The outside of the tube looked perfect and there was no indication of damage. There were no manufacture or expiration dates on any of the tubes. I don't know if it was the age of the third tube or quality control. Unfortunately you can't tell what you will get until you open the tube. Perhaps, it makes sense to purchase some extra tubes and return any with dried out product.
