The design is what it is, you can see that from the photos. My concerns are about the functionality of the shoe. It's got a super stable platform and my feet aren't sliding all around the rim of the sole like in other shoes I've tried, but I'm not sure what they were thinking with the tread. It's got huge knobs spaced out on the bottom. Sure this sounds like a good idea, but most of the contact surface touching the ground is the smooth part of the sole. Very dangerous on wet surfaces, so be careful. The knobs also start to dig in to the bottoms of your feet. These shoes would be amazing if they went with a more traditional tread and not the weird spaced out knobby things. I don't know why everything has to be bad in some way. Like, why can't companies just make something good the first time? Sometimes it feels like we're stuck in this mediocre product purgatory.
