Queen Premier Hybrid Mattress

We had a Nectar mattress before. It was a bit firm for our preference, but adding a memory foam topper made it just right. Now, eight years later, we were wanting to try an adjustable platform with a new mattress. Looking into the hybrid mattresses, this seemed like a good mix of memory foam and traditional spring. We ordered the spit king as we knew we wouldn't agree on the sleeping position all the time. We've been sleeping on this set up for about a month and it seems to be working well. I definitely use the zero gravity position more than my husband, but we both have adjusted that setting to our preferred position. I start out in that position and sleep soundly for 4-5 hours, then go to the flatter position for side-sleeping. I would always wake up with a sore back if I laid on my back for very long, but this allows me to be in that position comfortably for hours, which helps alleviate the numbness I would always feel in my arms and hands by morning. I am pleased with the level of firmness in the mattress. I believe the springs supporting the memory foam has allowed me to be comfortable with a slightly more firm mattress than before. My husband would like it a but more firm, but says this is comfortable enough. The sheets/pillow cases that came with the purchase were very much appreciated as a split king sheet set is harder to find. We also love the pillows that came with the purchase as well. My husband set up the the entire thing himself, so I can't give much detail about the process, but he said it wasn't difficult at all. We used the extended leg option and love the extra room under the bed without having the mattress any higher than our previous bed. So far, we're happy with our purchase, but also love the extended time allowed to thoroughly try out the product as it is a significant investment.
