As many other reviewers have noted, the activation / installation process is a bit tricky. If you look at some of the reviews and follow their tips you can probably muddle through the process. I had to wait for a while until the purchase showed in my Amazon orders and then started there, on Amazon, to activate the product. It then directs you to office.com. If you follow the prompts there (and some of the other reviewers gave great instructions about where to look for it there, etc.) it will eventually download an installation exe file. That file notification showed up for me in a little box in the upper right of the screen, and I had to go there and click to open it. Once I had that opened, I had to click okay to allow the app to make changes on my computer. After that, it was pretty straightforward. I did make sure to sign into my Microsoft account before even going to the Amazon activation page. It took about five to ten minutes for the installation to get done. When it was finished, there was a fairly clear message at the lower left of my screen stating that the installation was complete. The software seems to work fine, so the software probably deserves a 5-star rating, but since the installation (which is not Amazon's fault) is difficult enough for several folks to get frustrated and leave one-star ratings, I gave it four stars.
