Mainstays Cozy Plush Throw Blanke

Thin %26 lightweight but soft %26 cuddly. Tasteful subdued color %26 design. Hemmed edges a plus for home use but likely a minus for dog blankets, and these were purchased to donate to the local shelter. I wanted FLANNEL - much more practical for dog blankets - but the only ones you had were so thin and loosely woven I wouldn't waste $4 each for them! Also, the loosely threaded edges could pose an intestinal hazard to a chewing pup that ingested them. Typically, flannel throws are put on clearance at $1 each after Christmas - which is about all they are worth - and I'll buy them at that price, but they weren't reduced. I'd rather get better quality flannel with a tighter weave and heavier weight at the fabric store than buy them at regular price from Walmart. The POLY throws that I bought for $6 , $7 after tax, feel snuggly for a little lap or baby blanket but I bet they will shed fluffy pilling from the first wash forward and be a pain from then on. Can't speak to that since I donated them. Not a particularly good buy unless you need only one, but I'd check Goodwill first, frankly. I'd only recommend it under the circumstance that you only need one for a short time and have only a few dollars to spare.
