Beautiful color changing lights with tons of colors and pattern variations! We bought four sets for our 11 ft (real) tree and that was just the right amount.
These lights seem very solidly built and come in their own reusable boxes to store. The app was pretty straightforward to set up on an iPhone and easy to use.
The sale prices were appreciated since these cost more than the typical big box store stuff - but they also look, feel, and appear to be way more durable. We'll see.
For now, we're really happy with our choice and expect use and enjoyment from them for years to come.

These lights are so pretty! I am over the moon about them and have been telling everyone about Twinkly lights. I had never heard of them before last week. I feel like Twinkly needs to step up its marketing!
This Gen 2 450-Cluster set comes preloaded with about 15 patterns (and you can download more) that have endless choices of colors, speeds, and brightness. It's almost overwhelming! You can make up your own patterns, too. We've had no problem with the lights connecting to the app, Wifi, or Alexa as some of the reviews have stated. I also haven't lost any of my saved patterns/colors as some reviews mentioned.
I have one set of the 450-Cluster lights on a 6-foot tree. I would like one more set of cluster lights and I think I could come pretty close to the pre-lit Twinkly tree that retails for $450. I am super happy with just the one set, as the effects I can choose from really make the tree stand out. I am in love with these lights!
The cluster set comes with a long (5 or so feet) lead cord so with my setup, there are no "wasted" lights--all of them are on the tree. I read that the Twinkly String lights are split in two with the lead cord in the middle. I am not sure how that would work. I am very happy that the Cluster lights have the plus at one end of the set. They were extremely easy to hang on the tree as well; I was playing with the patterns and colors in less than 10 minutes!
Since I only have one set, I haven't noticed if more sets can connect to it. I don't think they can, so that may be a consideration when choosing Cluster over String.
Bottom line--these are pricey, but they are an investment and utterly beautiful!
