Ultimate Ears Wonderboom Play Portable Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker

Delighted with this little speaker. Appearance: it's about the size of a grapefruit but surprisingly light. The blue band is an elasticated handle and there's a loop too making it portable and practical as a stand alone or hanging speaker. Connectivity & function: intuitive to use. Large clear controls. It paired with my phone in seconds. It even has a paper leaflet though I didn't actually need instructions. I was impressed that it stayed connected even when my phone was the other side of the room. Sound: good clear balance sound across different music genres and podcasts. Some distortion at maximum volume but in truth I would want it that loud indoors. The sound is unidirectional despite the cylindrical shape but it still gas good angle of sound and can be paired with another speaker to boost coverage and volume. Use: Great to safely have music in the bathroom meant I could hear the news and traffic report in the morning as well as start the day with a song! It's very portable - easy to bring sound to any room. I even took it with us on a weekend away with us. It doesn't come with a charger but it uses a USB C cable which is the same as my phone so no need to duplicate. Overall good sound, good quality good versatility and good value.
