The headphones arrived folded down in their protective case, along with USB-C and 3.5mm cables which allows for use as traditionally wired headphones. The USB-C cable is also used for charging. The headphones are well constructed and are a minimalist design. The cloud pink body is accentuated with a copper(?) accents. They are a comfortable to wear, with memory foam earcups. They fit securely and I didn't feel that they would slip from my head. It took under a minute to connect with my iPhone. The controls within/around the 'b' logo on the left-hand side, are familiar to anyone who has used wireless/wired headphones. One press to play/pause, two for the next track etc. There is a small LED on the left ear cup which shows when they are on. The volume controls are on the outer rim of the 'b'. I didn't have any trouble navigating through my music selection. The power/pairing button is on the bottom right ear cup is small and difficult to locate when the headphones are on my head, so I just made sure to turn them on beforehand. I cannot fault the battery life and they charge quickly. For me, the sound quality is what lets these headphones down. I wanted to completely lose myself in whatever I was listening to, however I was surprised that there was no active noise cancellation. It was still possible to hear conversations taking place nearby. The only way to block them out would be to turn the audio up to a level that would be harmful. For me, music lacked depth. The base is barely there. The sound is clean and clear, but there is no scope for tailoring to individual preferences/musical genres even via an app. The sound is marginally improved with iTunes spatial audio. I persevered, and really wanted to fall in love with the sound quality, but they aren't for me. Overall, these are well built functional headphones however the lack of ANC soulless sound quality will relegate them to home use, primarily for audio books/pod casts.
