I'm very impressed this far. I like the lack of hinges on the water reservoir lid and the carafe lid. I was looking for quality without all those unnecessary bells and whistles such as timers, clocks and beeping noises. Coffee quality is excellent. The glass carafe is nice but seems a bit fragile and I will get the stainless steel carafe when it is back in stock. The coffee itself is not quite as hot as my prior coffee makers but that's OK. I can sip immediately and no fear of burning my lips. If I have any concerns it is simply that moisture stays in the reservoir after brewing so I leave the lid off to be sure it will dry out after awhile. I don't know if I really need to do that but I'm just being cautious. This is a beautiful machine, easy to clean and use, and I'm extremely happy with the splurge over the common $100 price point coffee makers.
