Samsonite Pivot 3 3 Piece Set Luggage Set

My kids bought this 3 piece set for me for Christmas for my upcoming cruise. The set is a beautiful Plum color that you can find very easy on the airport carousel. I love the luggage BUT didn’t realize that it’s 1 1/2 inches too tall and too wide for the airport size. When I got up to check in , I was worried it would be overweight, it was not, but it was too large and I had to pay an extra $ 100 to check it. When I got to the cruise ship, they also told me it was oversized, but with a decent tip, the guy put it through. Unfortunately, I now have to buy another large piece for airline travel. I can use this if just traveling by car. It’s a great set, but beware of the size as you will pay extra!
