This monitor is an excellent match for a 27" iMac 5K Retina. The screen is flawless, and while not as detailed as the Mac's display (4K vs 5K), it offers crystal clear text at small sizes and nearly-black blacks. I am using it in portrait mode, at 1440 x 2560 resolution (same as the iMac) for information and control purposes. The only low (and not unexpected) is that while Dell offers Mac display control software, it appears to work only on the very latest operating system (OR perhaps only on a non-Intel, M-series Mac), so out of luck there. They do provide Mac color profiles which work just fine. Switching from portrait to landscape is a simple trip to the Displays panel in the Mac preferences. Make sure you have a USB-C to DisplayPort cable, which will set you back less than 10 bucks. I found the included cables were both too short and inappropriate to connect with a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) Mac.
