I was unsure about this jacket since I was thinking of getting the Nano Puff. I'm happy about my purchase. This jacket is a little puffier than the Nano I think but quite warm and has more room in the hips than other Patagonia jackets I've tried. I love the outer zip pocket on the upper left side of the jacket. Now I don't have to unzip my jacket in the cold to retrieve my keys or phone. I would definitely recommend this jacket.

I ordered the Radalie jacket because I needed a new mid-weight coat for dog-walking and casual wear when a full down jacket or coat was too much. The Radalie is really substantial, warmer than I expected, and really effective in blocking the wind. It's soft and cushy-feeling, just a great coat to snuggle in. I wear sweaters in the winter and although the sleeves feel a little snug, the body of the jacket accommodates a good, heavy sweater underneath. I used to be a little taller as age is shrinking me, but I still like the fit of an extra-large, even if the sleeves are a tad longer over my hands. The jacket would really fit a taller person quite well, more proportionally. But on days or evenings when I don't think I really need a down jacket, the Radalie has been a good all-around coat to have on hand. And honestly, it could handle "down coat weather" too. The construction is solid, the zipper is high quality and works well. I always look at Patagonia Worn Wear first, and I found my down jacket there. I love the concept of Worn Wear. But I thought that the (sale) price of the Radalie jacket was more than fair for the exceptional value of the product. Patagonia is the best!
