The watch has been great. I sleep with it, shower with it. Has a lot of features, steps, heart rate, BP, O2 level, tracks sleep. Reminders to stand if you've been sitting, multiple watch faces. I will say the Steps are off compared to Google Fit on my phone. Not sure if there is something I can do about it, or just a default, but the steps are off by A LOT when compared to my phone. Other than the steps, it seems really awesome. Everything else seemed accurate, BP, HR and O2 were very close when measured with alternative devices. Sleep is accurate as well. The waterproof feature is excellent. You can also receive calls and texts through it. I couldn't find how to text with the watch, but you can use it for calls. For the price, absolutely would recommend. It has most features of other smart watches at a fraction of the price!

I purchased the Carbinox X-Ranger watch a few weeks ago and am now able to provide some initial insights.

As an introduction, I have been purchasing smart watches for quite a while. I am looking for a robust smart watch that tracks blood pressure (my number one criteria), steps, heart rate, sleep, and oxygen levels, and provides a detailed history, including graphs, of the results. I have owned a Fit Versa-5 (lasted less than 18 months), several "MorePro" watches (each one lasted less than 9 months), and two other highly rated smart watches on Amazon. The MorePro watch app was the most advanced with great historical features and graphs. It's BP readings were fairly accurate. The Versa-5 did not have BP, but the step counter feature was excellent. It measured the distance one walked, then divided that by the length of your step to get the # of steps (most watches are the other way around), which means it would track steps while I mowed the lawn and had both arms on the push-bar.

The last watch I purchased was supposed to be built to military specifications, like the Carbinox, but it lasted right at a year. The watch still works, but one of the buttons came off and the watch does not track my steps if I am mowing the lawn or using Poles while Nordic Walking. I also do not think the BP accuracy is the best.

It is too early to know if the Carbinox X-Ranger will stand up to the abuse I give watches, but I am impressed with the step counting capability, which rivals that of the Versa-5, and the BP accuracy. I went to the Dr yesterday for an annual, and the BP on the watch was almost identical to the BP reading at the office. I also have a BP cuff, which is one way I measure the BP accuracy of the watches I have owned, and the Carbinox BP is as accurate as the cuff.

The historical data and graphs are equal to or excels almost all the other watches I owned, with the exception of the MorePro.

The three issues I currently have are as follows: 1. The watch does not sync with Google Fit, and 2. The Weather app on the phone does not sync with the weather on the watch, and 3. I cannot sync my Google Address book with this phone feature. Carbinox says they are aware of these issues and are working on them.

Concerning the phone capabilities. The phone feature is the easiest to use of all the phones I had that also had this feature. It is easy to answer, hear and hang up. However, due to the address book sync issues, I am unable to make phone calls unless I know the number and manually input it. As mentioned above, Carbinox is aware of the issue and is working on a fix.

Overall, I am currently pleased with this watch. As Carbinox says in their FAQ section, to get the features of an Apple Watch will require Apple prices. I just hope the phone is as robust at they claim. I do not want to have to be looking for another smartwatch in another 18 months.
