Shark AI Ultra Robot Self-Empty Robot Vacuum AV2511AE

Have had this vacuum since Nov 2023. The auto empty feature is nice but the vacuum itself doesn’t clean around corners and the suction is weak. There’s no physical remote and you have to use the app to map, schedule and use the stronger “max” suction feature, the “clean” and “dock” buttons work without the app but only cleans on the lower powered auto mode. Also the app doesn’t provide a directional pad and there’s no way to spot clean, it’s a whole room or nothing. Outside of the vacuum not cleaning under the lip of my kitchen cabinets and by the dishwasher the dual brushes are a nice feature and it’s low maintenance. Unfortunately we haven’t been able to connect to the app or change any of the settings for months (it’s currently stuck in energy saver and German). We changed our WiFi password and had to reconnect everything, but the app and vacuum won’t sync no matter how many times I’ve tried to do a factory reset. This basically turns the vacuum into a noisy automatic broom that avoids corners but still somehow runs into me and my dogs. Purchased mine for a little under $300 so it’s lasted over a year so far, but is pretty loud compared to the first 6 months, the cleaning quality isn’t the best if you can’t use the max function and it’s been annoying to have to remember to turn in on daily. Overall it’s a convenient added layer of protection in the fight against my Corgi’s constant shedding on our hardwood floors and does well with electric cords and small level changes. Most days I end up swifffering behind it and should’ve returned it when I had the chance. Okay for the price but am looking for a replacement that works better on carpets and in smaller spaces with lots of dog hair.
