I initially had problems with machine cleaning, just one room in my house and I couldn’t figure it out. I finally realized that there was a slight ledge created by a low pile of carpet. It mapped fine, but then routinely wouldn’t clean that room. I put a piece of packing tape along the edge of the carpet which got the Roborock to do that room. I plan to get a sill to put on it permanently to solve the problem. Otherwise I love it. It is fairly small and concise and non-intrusive in the room. I can have it mop one room and not mop the next without having to touch the machine. I’m handicapped so the less i have to pick it up the better. I love that it self-empties after completing cleaning the house-again meaning I dont have to lift the whole unit to the trash—I just clean the dust bin. I don’t get tangles on the roller like I did with my omnipro, which I gave to my younger, stronger and more agile daughter . It was much more expensive five years ago but I couldn’t deal with the huge water tanks, one for clean and one for dirty water plus I to pull off to change the cumbersome cleaning pads It also had a camera which showed the coverage from the machines perspective, which I didn’t need. One thing I miss that the omnipro had was the ability to talk to the machine. For example I could say “come here” and it would come without my having to carry it. All in all, I’m very pleased with the Roborock which cost $800 less than the omnipro.
