Govee Christmas String Lights

These have really added a nice touch to our front garden. The ropes seem sturdy enough to tough out the weather, while still being flexible enough to drape without having to fight against them. The mapping function seems to work well, allowing me to (for eg) set up a nice candy stripe effect along the front edge of the space just by arranging the lights as a zig-zag and then mapping them. A small gripe is with the app - It's sometimes difficult to find what you're looking for as different settings are spread across different screens... And there's some simple omissions - like you can group all of the same model of lights together (I also have a couple of curtains), but you can't automatically run the same playlist for all of the devices in a group - you still have to start them all individually. In fact, playlists are per-device, so I had to manually set up identical playlists across my two strings to get them to play together. That said, the inbuilt effects are gorgeous, and with a little work you can make your own with little difficulty.
