threshold Printed Performance 400 Thread Count Sheet Set

You dont always get what you pay for. $65 for putrid, unwavering puke smell. I am genuinely SO sad - the pattern and colors on these sheets is so nice, and they seem fairly decent quality for a store brand. However - I thought buying Threshold brand vs Room Essentials or etc would mean the more $$ would go to quality control and condition, I was very mistaken. It isnt like you can (or normally do) sniff-test fabrics in store but it's not like I had it shipped or anything, and apparently a quick Google/Reddit search shows im far from alone with this brand specifically smelling like vomit & rancid cheese, some people said even after several washes. I didnt get that far as I had to return ASAP, the smell was so awful I didnt want to chance stinking up my other clothes or bedding in the washer. Stay far away & maybe, hopefully, try another brand elsewhere. These had to have been sitting stored in a musty humid environment and bred mold or mildew to smell like this and it sounds like its a permanent thing between the quality itself and whatever chemicals used to treat Target's Threshold fabrics fabrics. The quality of their products have gone downhill fast since they pivoted from certain business practices and probably have been cutting lots of corners. Womp, womp.
