Kid Made Modern New Year's Eve Party Kit

Got this kit on Boxing Day sale. Kids (age 6, 11) had fun for about one hour decorating the banner, the hats and the baubles. The hats were difficult to make for children especially considering that you’re supposed to glue the sides together but it doesn’t hold together. They found it frustrating ! Also the hats don’t stay on kid’s head as there is no elastic string provided. I had to staple the hat’s sides together. The dollar store has party hats that have elastics and are pre folded and it is much easier and cheaper. The hats were not used at all during our New Year’s Eve party as it’s so inconvenient to have to hold the hat on your head. Overall this is a fun kit, especially the banner and baubles even though it isn’t worth the regular price ($30) at all.
