This could be a really great jacket except for two major flaws. First is the incredibly CHEAP plastic zipper which is always jamming or popping loose. I can't trust this thing at all. Several times it has either had me trapped in my jacket until I found a pair of pliers to pull the fabric out of the teeth or left me exposed to freezing winds because it popped loose from the teeth midway and I couldn't get it to zip up. The second flaw is the poorly thought out draw cord which is around the bottom of the jacket instead of around the waist where it should be. This does very little to block wind from whipping up around your body. On the plus side, the jacket is warm (when the wind isn't blowing) and there is plenty of room to wear my fleece jacket as an under layer. Overall, it's good enough for my daily winter commute to work but I just can't trust it as a serious winter sport jacket. I'll stick to my North Face for that.
