The picture on the camera itself is decent quality and it is truly plug and play: worked straight away with no fuss after plugging the USB cable into a laptop. The mounting system works fine, but as the clamp has no spring or other way to fix the camera (relies on friction in the clamp hinge) then it does feel like it could fall off a monitor quite easily. The microphone on the device however is pretty poor: when using the camera on a video call, the other participant could not hear my voice properly and I had to revert to the in-built mic on my laptop. There seems no way to increase the recording volume either. Overall a decent camera at the offer price, but if you want a decent mic too, this product is not the best.
