This two part mask is not like regular paper sheet masks that are soaked in serum, this is thicker and the active ingredient is embedded so it’s not as messy. The two part style makes it easy to apply although it is still fragile so be careful. Most people, I believe, sleep with these one, applying about an hour before bedtime, I wasn’t convinced I’d manage that so I opted for an evening treatment. When you apply the mask it’s white and overtime it turns clear, for me this process took about 4 1/2 hours. Once clear it can be removed and it is supposed to leave behind dewy, glass skin. I’m early 50s with pretty dry skin so that was never going to happen! The collagen acts as a great humectant, so it does temporarily plump skin and it is now the following day and I still feel the moisture benefit from the mask, which is fantastic. My skin is a little brighter too. 5 stars, it takes a while to do, for a benefit of only a day or two but it’s a great thing to incorporate into a self care evening and I do prefer this style of mask to the messy sheet style soaked in serum and the results are better and longer lasting but still temporary. Worth the additional cost.
