My review has more to do with Williams-Sonoma than the actual knives. I ordered two knives Dec 3 for a Christmas gift. Two weeks later, they hadn’t arrived, so I pulled up the tracking only to find they were back ordered. W-S never notified me, but they did bill my card, only to refund it a few days later. When they did finally arrive well into January, one was damaged due to shoddy packing. Several phone calls later, they agree to send a replacement, which also turns out to be back ordered. When it finally arrives in February, the package of the replacement knife (sent in an envelope mailer) is flattened, hardly suitable to present as a gift. So Christmas is long past, and while I finally have both gifts, I would be embarrassed to give one as a gift, but I’m not sure it’s worth the hassle to try and exchange it. But I love Wusthof knives, just don’t buy them here.
